LOS ANGELES--The Black-hawks have had few homegrown players intheir long history, so goalie Craig Andersson joined some selectcompany Saturday.
With Jocelyn Thibault struggling against the Los Angeles Kings onSaturday, coach Brian Sutter lifted his starter and pushed Anderssoninto his NHL debut. Andersson was called up from Norfolk on Tuesdayand dressed for his first NHL game Thursday against the PhoenixCoyotes.
Thibault was lifted after the Kings scored their fourth goal at13:04 of the second period. He stopped 19 of 23 shots.
Andersson stopped all four shots he faced in the 4-1 loss.
